Five star service,we have just purchased a villa from reputable estate agents,however,after reading on expats forum sule beder came highly recommended. The estate agents wanted a large deposit and said they would do all the relevant checked etc for us,but lucky we decided to go with sule. Just in matter of few phone calls,she found out that there were some financial clamaties pending on the property, her true recommendations were that she will not make any payments to any one,until everything was paid. Hi, if your reading this and looking for a lawyer you have found the right place. Sule is a godsend, a very honest hard working lawyer who will look out for your interests not just think of how much she can charge you like English lawyers. Last October I came out to look at a villa that we where interested in and was all set to start the buying process without a lawyer involved to save money but at the last minute decided to have a bit more sense. Found a few lawyers on the net and called around, the first couple i spoke to sounded just like England, set price, no interest, get it over and done with. Then i had a 5 minute conversation with Sule. A completely different experience I felt that finally I was talking to someone who cared about us and that we would get the correct place and not be cheated in any way. Being British we assumed that Turkish Lawyers would provide at best a service similar to that of a British Solicitor. How wrong we were in the case of Sule Beder. We had never bought property abroad previously and were naturally very apprehensive. Sule was just excellent. Her English is good and she explained the whole process thoroughly. Prior to even viewing property in Turkey we researched on the internet to find so many people were having problems with purchasing property. It appeared that sellers had no problem accepting the money, but the buyers were not recieving the deed (TAPU) at the end. We decieded at this point to look for a good lawyer so we did not fall into the same trap as so many others we had read about. Sule Beder has been unbelievable, we were at first sceptical at these testimonials, however after purchasing property we are in awe of the professionalism & dedication Sule puts in to ensure a very smooth process. Lesson We Learnt the Hard Way, Please Take Note: 4 years ago we purchased a Villa from a construction company paid half up front and the final balance once the building was completed as in our agreement. We asked for our Tapu and this is when things went wrong, for the last 4 years we have been given various excuses each time we visited the company, promising it will be ready when we come back next time, causing my Mum and I a considerable amount stress. At the beginning you put your trust in them, as we lived in the UK we could only challenge them when we came out as e-mails were replied with empty promises. In June this year we came out and visited them again this time there was a problem with the Government hold on foreigners receiving their Tapu. This time however our patience had worn thin and I found there was underlying factors in their behaviour which was unscrupulous. I was put in touch with a person who I consider now a good friend who put me in touch with Sule who I met that very afternoon who immediately took action. Within 30 minutes Sule confirmed our worst fears; however Sule put my Mum and me at ease she would get to work straight away and told us to go away and enjoy the rest of our stay. That same day she contacted the company to source a friendly settlement and the company obliged. Sule was absolutely amazing she visited our Villa and documented any concerns we had with the Villa along with a building expert. Sule then confirmed the company had agreed to complete all the work which took 6 weeks to do; this included damp proofing, plastering, guttering and a number of other items. Sule and the building expert visited regularly during the 6 weeks to ensure they were using the correct materials and ensure the work they were doing was to the highest specification, keeping me informed all the way during our return to England. Not only that but Sule had them agree if any of the problems occurred again next year they would have to put it right again, including them paying our water bill for the last 4 years. We returned back in August and were amazed what Sule had achieved and not only that but we now have our Tapu, Yippee! Sule what you have done has gone above and beyond our expectations. What you have achieved in a few weeks we have been trying for 4 years; to say thank you is not enough, you are an amazing Lady; the smile on my Mums face says it all! I now consider you a great friend. I don’t know any Lawyer who would go out of their way to do what you have done; you are an Angel in disguise. If you had a friend like Sule you would be truly blessed. When you need a Lawyer it is never nice but the process was like having your best friend stood at your side throughout. My wife and I, invested in an off-plan build in Turkey, in 2005, but were the victims of a subsequent law change that left us in a vulnerable situation. We sort legal assistance. Our first lawyer gave us false hope and tried to defraud us for her own gain. Following an azilname (lawyer change), our second lawyer (from Ankara) then badly deceived us.
